Collegium Iuridicum I

Collegium Iuridicum I, named after Professor Leon Petrażycki, is the oldest building of the Faculty of Law and Administration, located on the central campus of the University of Warsaw at Krakowskie Przedmieście. The building houses four Institutes: the Institute of Legal History, the Institute of the Study of the State and Law, the Institute of Civil Law, and the Institute of Criminal Law. The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Tomasz Giaro, PhD, DSc, also has his office here, as do the Vice-Dean for Research and International Cooperation, Associate Professor Dobrochna Bach-Golecka, PhD, DSc, and the Vice-Dean for Finance, Assistant Professor Marek Grzybowski, PhD.

The building also contains a large part of the Faculty’s administration, the headquarters of the Student Government of the Faculty of Law and Administration, the Council of Scientific Societies, as well as a conference hall and six seminar rooms.

Collegium Iuridicum II

Collegium Iuridicum II is part of the complex of the most modern University Library in Poland. The building serves primarily educational purposes. Twelve fully equipped lecture halls are available to students and lecturers. On the roof of the modern Collegium Iuridicum II and the adjacent University of Warsaw Library, there is a beautifully designed garden with streams, greenery, and flowers. Collegium Iuridicum II also houses the Center for American Law, the Center for French Law, and the Center for German Law.

Collegium Iuridicum III is located on the main campus of the University of Warsaw, near the side gate from Oboźna Street. It houses the Institute of Legal and Administrative Sciences, the Faculty Library with a reading room for students and staff, as well as research and teaching facilities. The construction of Collegium Iuridicum III was co-financed from the European Union structural funds under the Integrated Regional Development Operational Program and from the state budget.

Collegium Iuridicum IV

Collegium Iuridicum named after Cezary Berezowski, formerly known as the “Gray Villa,” is a building dating back to 1905. It is part of the University of Warsaw Library complex and houses the Institute of International Law as well as the Center for English Law. The building contains a seminar room and four lecture halls.
